With the advancement of science and technology, more and moremechanical devices are used to help human to complete the work. So, thediseases caused by the mechanical vibrations increased every year.Vibration has been regarded as risky factor leading to the intervertebral discdegeneration. The injury was related to the following vibration frequency, intensity, direction and the time for vibration exposure. Vertical vibrationdid the greatest harm to lumbar disc among all kinds of the vibrationfactors. But the relationship between the vibration frequency of discdegeneration has not been found yet. The protective equipment was oftenused to treat the patients who suffer from lumbar disc herniation and thepostoperative ones. But there has been little study on whether it canprotect the degeneration of the intervertebral disc caused by vibration. Therefore, the present study was to prepared rat intervertebral discdegeneration models by different vibration frequencies, and differentvibration frequencies rat intervertebral disc with lumbar supportdegeneration models to study the relationship between them. One hundred and twenty-six six-week-old male SD rats are randomlydivided into three groups: normal group (6), vibration training group (60vibration rate:10~100Hz),vibration group with the protective equipment(60vibration rate:10~100Hz).The Vibration training group was dividedinto10groups to10Hz grouping, and the vibration group with theprotective equipment group was done in the same way, with each group six SD rats. The vibration training is performed on vibration group. Twelveweeks later, all rats were killed and the intervertebral disc tissue(L1-L6)were obtained. The morphology of the rats intervertebral disc tissue isobserved by HE stain, the apoptosis of disc detected by TUNELdetection(FITC+POD), the immunohistochemical staining of poptosisrelated protein Bcl-2and Bax is implemented. The amounts of intervertebral disc nucleus pulposus cells vibrationgroup are less than normal group. With the increase of the vibrationfrequency, intervertebral disc cells in rats have a decreasing trend. Theintervertebral disc cells in brace protection group more than those in thevibration training group. Overall, the intervertebral disc nucleus pulposuscells shows a downward trend in vibration training groups, the Bax shows aupward mobility, the Bcl-2shows a diametrical effect. The results of this study: With the increase of the vibration frequency, intervertebral disc cells in the rats have a decreasing trend. Protectiveequipment can protect the lumbar spine, and it can delay the progression ofintervertebral disc degeneration caused by the vibration.
