Objective To investigate the value of multi-slice spiral CT(MSCT) perfusion in monitoring the status of function to detecting renal blood flow in normal person and patients with diabetic.Materials and Methods According to the level of fast-glocuse, T2DM patients within5years were assigned into2groups,including loose blood glucose control group (FBG>7.0mmol/L,n=15), tight blood glucose control group(≤7.0mmol/L,n=15).And normal volunteers as control group(n=15).The renal tissue perfusion was performed in all cases using64row detector spiral CT,and the perfusion picture and the perfusion parameters BF、BV、MTT and PS were obtained with the body perfusion software.Then process the data using the capabilities of excel, compared the parameters in each groups with spss16.0.Results1. The average BF of renal cortex in DN (loose blood glucose control group)was lower than control group, the average MTT was prolonged, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05), the average BV values of the cortex decreased slightly,but there was no significant difference(p>0.05). The average BF and BV of renal cortex in DN(tight blood glucose control group)was higher compared to control group,The average MTT was postponed,the difference was statistically significant (p<0.01); Compared DN (loose blood glucose control group)with DN (tight blood glucose control group),the average BF and BV of renal cortex reduced, the average MTT was prolonged, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.01).2. FBG and the averge of BF、MTT were highly correlated, also had a linner correlation with perfusion paramaters.3. The glomerular filtration rate has no statistically significant compared between before and after CT perfusion imaging.Conclusion1. The renal blood flow perfusion was incresed in diabetic mellitus;2. Hyperglycema is a dameged facter for early renal function of diabetic,eff icient control of blood gluose level could be important to postpone kidney injuring.3.Small doses of low permeability nonionic contrast agent used in early diabetics with renal CT examination is safe.
