OBJECTIVE:Through the observation of the safety, efficacy and evaluation the thecombination effect of two drugs (ropivacaine mesylate and tramadol), thus by thecombination effect provide patients with a reasonable, safe and satisfactory clinicalanesthesia.METHODS:34patients in Shenyang Medical College Affiliated Central Hospital wereevaluated. The object of study was in December,2013—August,2014in theDepartment of Anesthesiology who are undergoing elective upper extremity surgery,ASA: grade I~II level, Age:18-50years old, Weight:45-90kg, with nocontraindications in Brachial plexus blocks. The patients were randomly dividedinto two groups (A=18, B=16cases), group A:0.596%ropivacaine mesylate40ml,group B:0.596%ropivacaine mesylate and ramadol100mg with a total of40ml,The same two groups of anesthesia, and the results were compared.RESULTS:The mean of gender, age, weight in population between the two groups were nostatistically significant differences (P>0.05). Patients burglary after routineestablishment of intravenous access, the vital signs (BP, HR, SpO2, SBP) beforeanesthesia, and after anesthesia between the two groups were no statisticallysignificant differences (P>0.05), DBP anesthesia in20minute was statisticallysignificant differences (P<0.05), but other times there were no statisticallysignificant differences (P>0.05). The comparison between the two groups bloodpressure and oxygen saturation was no statistically significant differences (P>0.05),but was statistically significant differences in heart rate(P<0.05). Group B sensoryblock onset time is shorter than group A, as (1.94±0.77) min, A group of sensoryblock onset time was (4.22±1.70) min, and the difference between groups was statistically significant differences (P <0.001). Group B motion block onset time isshorter than group A, as (3.69±0.95) min, A group of motor block onset time of(7.00±2.40) min, and there was statistically significant differences (P <0.001)between group A and group B.CONCLUSIONS:1. Ropivacaine mesylate alone and the combined use of ropivacaine mesylateand tramadol in the process of axillary brachial plexus block, blood pressure, heartrate, oxygen saturation changes at different times were no differences, whichindicates that they were both safe during anesthesia.2. Ropivacaine mesylate alone and the combined use of ropivacaine mesylateand tramadol in the process of axillary brachial plexus block, the comparison ofblood pressure and oxygen saturation between two groups was no differences.3.The heart rate of ropivacaine mesylate alone at different times is higher thanthe combined use of ropivacaine mesylate and tramadol in the process of axillarybrachial plexus block.4. Ropivacaine mesylate alone were significantly higher than the combined useof ropivacaine mesylate and tramadol in the process of axillary brachial plexus block. And at the same time the former onset time of sensory block and motor block onsettime were significantly higher than the latter.
