TangYiPing To The Clinical Intervention Studies Of Patients With Impaired Glucose Regulation And Serum Of Rat Nesfatin-1Influence Of Experimental Study

Objective: Study the clinical treatment effect and mechanism of action of Chinesepatent drug “TangYiPing” whose main principles of prescription are jian pi shu gan hua tanhuo xue on Impaired Glucose Regulation.And study the influence and mechanism of thenesfatin-1in the rats’ serum in the experimental study.Methods: There were60patients who were randomly divided into treatmentgroup(30cases)and control group(30cases).The two groups were given diabetes educationand life-style intervention.And the treatment group was given TangYiPing,meanwhile,thecontrol group was given Metformin.The treatment lasts for3months.During the time ofobservation,the main observation indicators are fasting plasma glucose, two hourpostprandial glucose,blood lipids, glycosylated hemoglobin,insulin levels,body mass index,waist to hip ratio,and the changes of the clinical symptoms.By the study of normalrats,IGR rats, herbal medicine rats and biguanide rats,comparing each group’s generalcondition, body weight, fasting plasma glucose, insulin, serum nesfatin-1levels and thedistribution of nesfatin-1in pancreatic.Results: The clinical study found that the treatment group’s fasting and postpran-dialblood glucose insulin, blood lipids,glycosylated hemoglobin, and the clinical symptomswere obviously improved,and compared with the control group,the diffe-rence wasstatistically significant (P＜0.05).During the study,no significant adverse reactions appeared.The experimental rasearch found,the herbal medicine TangYiPing and thebiguanide can significantly lower the body weights,fasting postprandial glucose of the IGRrats(P＜0.05). but there was no significant diffrtrnce between each of them(P＞0.05).Theinsulin levels of the herbal medicine rats and biguanide rats were both lower than themodel rats(P＜0.01),but no significant difference were found between them(P＞0.05).Compared with the normal rats, the levels of model rats’ nesfatin-1were ignificantlylower(P＜0.05),and,the biguanide rats had an increasing trend on the leval ofnesfatin-1compared with the model rats(P＜0.05).what’s more,the herbal medicine rats areeven more significant.Conclusion: The clinical study had found,berbal medicine TangYiPing com-binedwith life style intervention could significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patientswith IGR,improve the metabolism of glucose and lipid, improve the insulinresistance,decrease the patients’ weight and waist to hip ratio,improve the blood viscosityand other aspects.The experimental research showed that the TangYiPing flat can reducerats’weight,improve blood sugar and lower insulin levels, the effect with thebiguanide.And, TangYiPing could elevate the nesfatin-1levels,regulate the function of βcells of the pancreas and the distribution and number of nesfatin-1in pancreas.
