Design And Realization Of Chinese Medicine EMR

With the rapid development of computer technique, information processing, internet technique and the spread of their use, researches on electronic medical record (EMR) receive more and more attention. EMR is the core technique of medical information, and it is not only a collection of patient medical information, but also a carrier of information sharing. And so it is very important to study the EMR. Chinese medicine plays a very important role in the medicine science in our country. Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study Chinese medicine EMR.On the other hand, XML (Extensive Markup Language) is one of the most popular standards to describe semi-structure data such as Medical Record. The problems such as description, store, and treatment of EMR can be efficiently resolved by XML. At the same time, it also has a friendly interface when extending to Internet. Based on XML, we give some interesting things on the study of EMR. EMR system is used for storage and transmission in the form of XML documents. The structure and expansibility of XML document are very appropriate to describe the medical documents which contain complex contents. According to the characteristics of XML, this system uses XML schema models to regulate the structure and content of medical documents, and make sure that the medical documents can be linked smoothly between different hospitals.Based on XML Schema, this thesis gives the methods about definition of EMR, description of XML document and its display. The key data structure and important module are put forward after finishing analysis and design of Chinese Medicine EMRS. In the end, the future work is prospected.
