Around197Cases Of Acupuncture In Different Time Step In A Cohort Study On Treatment Of Facial Paralysis Patients

Objective: to observe the acupuncture in different time step in the surrounding sexdisease in patients with2weeks after treatment in patients with facial paralysis clinicalsymptoms improvement, explore its correlation with the timing of acupuncture. Providearound sexual facial paralysis acupuncture timing of evidence-based medical evidence.Methods: cohort study design, the production of the shandong province hospitalaround sexual facial paralysis patient cohort study questionnaire ", through ChuRuYuanregistration department, collect the shandong university hospital of traditional Chinesemedicine encephalopathy and acupuncture on January1,2007to April30,2013around197cases of hospitalized patients with facial paralysis, case investigation, and recordpatients’ basic information, TCM syndrome differentiation, clinical characteristics andtreatment.Using historical cohort study method, application of Excel software to establish theeast (around) sexual facial paralysis patient cohort survey information database, input thedata. Analysis of the exposure, exposure group in the clinical curative effect of two weekswhen the patient is sick, Logistic regression analysis its correlation with the timing ofacupuncture.Results:1. Hospitalization exposed group (acupuncture treatment in patients with onset time7days or less) of103cases (52.28%), in which weak exposure group (acupuncture treatmentin patients with onset time>3days)54cases, accounting for27.41%, strong exposuregroup (acupuncture treatment in patients with onset time3days or less) in49cases,accounting for24.87%. 2. Chi-square: exposure group compared with non exposed way, their gender, age,treatment, proportion of three types around sexual facial paralysis no statistical difference(P>0.05).3. Logistic regression analysis showed that hospital patients with onset around twoZhou Shijiang exposure group, the weak exposure to improve sexual facial paralysis inpatients with resting state face, forehead, movement, eyelid closure and the extent of thedrum gills situation is better than that of non exposed group (P <0.05), its the OR valuewere greater than1, the explanation of acupuncture on acute intervention around thetreatment of facial paralysis patients is the protection factor around sexual facial paralysis.4. Strong exposure OR value is greater than the weak exposure group, the higher thedegree of exposure, resting on the surrounding sex facial paralysis patients face state,movement, eyelid closure and drum forehead cheeks of the greater the degree ofprotection.Conclusion: the acute phase of acupuncture to improve sex around two weeks, theclinical symptoms of disease hospitalized patients with facial paralysis, is beneficial to therecovery of patients with facial paralysis.
