Objective:Detecting the expression of P53protein in serous ovarian cancerpathological tissue,combined with the changes of serum CA125level,to investigate the relationship among these two factors with thesensitivity of first-line chenmotherapy drugs and PFS in the initialtreatment of serous ovrian cncer patients. Providing reference forpredicting the susceptibility of first-line chemotherapy drugs andprognosis of erous ovarian cancer.Methods:Choose40cases of paraffin embedded serous ovarian cancerSpecimens, Which initial treated in our hospital from January2012toDecember2012. Detecting the expression of P53protein in specimensused immunochistochemistry method.40patients were treatedaccording to canonical therapy of NCCN ovarian cancer clinicalguidelines in our hospital.The initial treatment used paclitaxel+cisplatin chemotherapy for first-line drugs.Collected the dates inpatients with surgery and chemotherapy treatment, treatment effect, thechanges of serum CA125level and follow-up results, etc.The date wasanalyzed by SPSS17.0statistical software.The differences between thegroups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Results:1.P53is expresses in the nucleusserous of ovarian cancertissues.Negative was detected in6patients and positive34in patientsin40cases of serous ovarian cancer specimens.P53low expressiongroup was detected in11patients and high expression in29cases.2.All of the40patients were positive with serum CA125beforeinitial treatment.After four courses of chemotherapy,CA125fell tonegative was detected in24patients,which P53low expression groupwas detected in8patients and high expression in16cases.Not fell tonegative was detected in16patients,which P53low expression groupwas detected in3patients and high expression in13cases.There wasno difference between these two groups(.χ2=1.024,P=0.473,>0.05).3.The treatment and follow-up dates of40cases serous ovariancancer patients were retrospectively analyzed.The patients withchemotherapy sensitivity were21cases,which P53low expression groupwas detected in9patients and high expression in9cases.The patientswith chemotherapy drug resistance were19,,which P53low expressiongroup was detected in2patients and high expression in17cases.Chemotherapy drug resistance in patients with The rate of P53highexpression of chemotherapy sensitivity group differs from chemotherapydrug resistance group.The difference was statistically significant.(χ2=5.23,P=0.022,<0.05).4.The PFS of40cases of serous ovarian cancer patientswith canonical therapy were retrospectively analyzed. The PFS curve of P53low expression group has survival advantage compared to P53highexpression group.The difference was statistically significant(P=0.045,P<0.05).5.After4courses of chemotherapy,the PFS curve of CA125fell tonegative group has survival advantage compared to not fell to negativegroup,The median PFS of two groups were10months and21months,P=0.001,P<0.01, with significant statistical significance.Conclusion:1.The occurrence of chemotherapy drug resistance in patients withP53high expression is higher than low P53expression.P53expressionlevel in serous ovarian cancer tissue can be considered as a referencedesignator for forecast for the antifungal susceptibility in patients treatedwith first-line chemotherapy.But therefor decide whether to changethe chemotherapy regimens.It needed to further confirmed whether to improve theresponse to chemotherapy of the patients after change the chemotherapyregimen.2.The PFS curve of P53low expression group compared highexpression group has difference statistically significant. The patientsof P53low expression have survival advantage than high expression.Theformer is better than the latter.So it may be considered as an prognosticindicator of serous ovarian cancer.3.The median progression free survival of CA125fell tonegative group prolongs11months than not fell to negative group.The difference of two PFS curve is statistically significant.The patientsof CA125fell to negative have survival advantage than not fell tonegative.The former has a better prognosis. So it may be considered as anprognostic indicator of serous ovarian cancer.
