Objective:This study aims to discuss the different humidification fluids’ effects on ai-rway of patients after laryngectomy from clinical indexes, biochemical indexes,p-atient comfort, thus for patients after laryngectomy to choose effective,economic-al,practical,safe humidification fluid, and provide reference frame. Methods:one hundred and two patients with Laryngeal cancers who were in the Fir-st Hospital of JiLin University were sampled and divided into three groups ra-ndomly during Novemble2013to January2015,every group has forty-three pa-tients.Control group’s patients were given gentamicin,chymotrypsin,0.45%NaCl.E-xperimental group A’s patients were given1.25%NaHCO3,and Experimental gro-up B’s patients were given Mucosolvan,0.45%NaCl.Compare the difference bet-ween three groups from the average number of daily sputum suction, airway c-omplication rate, hospitalization stays and costs, patient comfort,pH and Ca2+val-ue in the sputum.Results:1.All the groups had an downtrend on the average number of daily sputumsuction,Mucosolvan group had the best effect,1.25%NaHCO3group took the se-cond place, the last was Gentamicin group(P<0.05).2.There was no statistical significance between the three groups in the inci-dence of postoperative bleeding, the phlegm scab and sputum bolt formation(P>0.05),there were statistical differences between the three groups in the incidenceof pungent choking cough,1.25%NaHCO3group had the worst effect,Mucosolva-n group had the best effect(P<0.05),there were statistical differences between t-he three groups in the incidence of incision infection,Gentamicin group had abetter effect than the other two groups(P<0.05). 3.There was no statistical significance between the three groups in the hos-pitalization stays and costs(P>0.05).4.1.25%NaHCO3group had the worst patient comfort(P<0.05),the other gro-ups had no statistical significance(P>0.05).5.There were statistical differences between the three groups in the pH val-ue in the sputum,Mucosolvan group had the best effect,1.25%NaHCO3group t-ook the second place, the last was Gentamicin group(P<0.05).6.There were statistical differences between the three groups in the Ca2+v-alue in the sputum,Mucosolvan group had the best effect,1.25%NaHCO3grouptook the second place, the last was Gentamicin group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.In the three humidification fluids,Mucosolvan group has the best effect o-n the airway of patients after laryngectomy,1.25%NaHCO3group takes the sec-ond place, the last is Gentamicin group.2.Mucosolvan group can have a good effect on the average number of dai-ly sputum suction, the incidence of pungent choking cough, patient comfort,pH a-nd Ca2+value in the sputum.3.Gentamicin group can decrease the incidence of incision infection.4.1.25%NaHCO3has a better effect on bloody sputum.
