BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: primary central nervous systemlymphoma (PCNSL) is different from systemic lymphoma, a rare brainmetastasis of malignant brain tumor. Because the clinical manifestationsand imaging typical lack specificity, clinical misdiagnosis rate is high, theprognosis is not good. PIL reviewed the clinical features, diagnosis andtreatment methods, in order to raise awareness of the disease clinicallyand further improve the early diagnosis and prognosis. Methods:Retrospective statistical neural surgical oncology, the firsthospital, jilin university from September2012to September2014wereconfirmed by surgery pathology of36cases of PCNSL patients, theacquisition of the patient’s age, gender, course, clinical manifestations, preoperative physical function status, KPS score, auxiliary examination, system data, pathology and prognosis in patients with treatment.Andcarries on the system analysis summary. Results: Collection of36cases of PCNSL,the20patients were male,16patients were female, had no history of organ transplantation, malignanttumor and autoimmune diseases, HIV antibodies were negative. male andfemale ratio was1.25:1; Age17-73, the median age of51, age over60years of age21cases, less than60years old (including60)15cases.Clinical manifestations of multiple cranial pressure increased symptomsas the starting performance, and accompanied by localized function defect. Preoperative KPS score>70for19cases, KPS for11cases of70or less. Head scan and enhanced MRI. Single lesion25cases, multiplelesions in11cases, most involvement on screen; Immunohistochemistryshowed that33cases of B cell origin,2cases of T cell sources. Statisticalanalysis it is concluded that age <60years old, KPs>70points, focalsingle tumor, postoperative radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy grouprelative to age>60years old, KPs <70points, tumor lesion and simpleoperation treatment group patients survival time prolonged.Conclusion:1, The patients with PCNSL clinical manifestations and other intracranialtumors are similar, with no specificity. Early diagnosis is difficult, themisdiagnosis rate is high.2, Cannot be early diagnosed patients, should be timely surgical treatment, can alleviate clinical symptoms, provide pathological tissue, provide thebasis for later treatment.3, The prognosis of patients with PCNSL patients’ age, single or multiplelesions, KPS score, preoperative treatment.4, Postoperative radiation and chemotherapy had a greater influence onthe prognosis of the disease. Should pay attention to comprehensivetreatment of PCNSL.
