Objective:To compare the therapeutic results of hip arthroplasty and proximalfemoral nail antirotation (PFNA)for elderly instable femoral intertrochanteric fractures. Methods:A number of43cases with femoral intertrochanteric fracture(EVANS-Ⅲorabove,age75years old or above) were retrospectively analyzed.43cases according tosurgical methods were used to PFNA treatment (PFNA group,n=26)and FHR (FHRgroup,n=17)。Observed and compared the operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative bed time, hip function and early complication between two groups.Results:43cases of patients were had9to24months follow up,The operationduration, intraoperative blood loss of arthroplasty group was higher than that of the PFNAgroup(P<0.05). And the postoperative bed time, hip function and early complication ofarthroplasty group was lower than that of the PFNA group(P<0.05)..The difference in hipfunction and complication after fractures healing between the groups was not significant. Conclusion:Hip replacement in treating intertrochanteric fractures in senile patientsshows a limited bleeding and operating time consumption. Can reduce the time in bed andearly ambulation。the treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture in elderly patients withhip prosthetic replacement was safely and effectively... |
