Objective:The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the influence factors of theself-monitoring ability of ADHD children. Then design the corresponding intervention planon this basis, to study the promoting effect of self-monitoring intervention to the virtuousbehavior of ADHD children.Method:The first one ordered experiment by2(subjects types: ADHD group, normalgroup) x2(external monitoring strength: long-distance observation, close observation) ofmixed experimental design, to investigate the self-monitoring level of ADHD children inelementary school, and external monitoring intensity on its self monitoring characteristics. The second experiment ordered an ABAB baseline intervention experimental design, examining the promoting effect and the difference of the two different self-monitoringstrategies (according to time process and according to task type)on the level of attention ofchildren with ADHD.Results:The results of the first experiment consistent with the hypothesis. It is foundthat ADHD children’s self-monitoring ability is significantly lower than that of normalchildren. When the experimenter takes a close observation, the self-monitoring ability ofchildren with ADHD is better than the experimenter observes at a distance. The results of the second experiment consistent with the hypothesis. The results showthat the acquisition of self-monitoring strategy for ADHD children has a continuouspromotion on the level of attention of children with ADHD.Conclusion:(1) The self-monitoring ability of ADHD children is significantly lowerthan normal children.(2) The self-monitoring level of ADHD children is significantly affected by theexternal monitoring. With the reduction of external monitoring, its self-monitoring abilityalso decreases.(3) The attention degree of ADHD children has increased significantly after self-monitoring strategy training. No matter the time course of self monitoring or the tasktype of self-monitoring, both significantly promote the attention degree of ADHD childrenin class...
