A Study On The Self-Care Agency And Influence Factors Of The Bladder Cancer Patients With Ileal Conduit Before Discharge

Objective:The purpose of the study is to research on the self-care agency of the bladder cancer patients with ileal conduit before discharge, to explore the influence factors of self-care agency.The paper establishes the model of influencing factors, to promote the nursing staff to carry out more effective self nursing education, and enhance the self nursing ability of before hospital discharge.The self-care level and the quality of life after discharge can be improved obviously through the methods.Methods:This subject uses a descriptive research method, which belongs to non-experimental research methods. With convenient sampling method,we collceted60investigation questionnaires of the ileal conduit patients from six hospitals in Zhejiang province, between October2013to August2014. The research tools include:patient general information questionnaire, social support rating scale,the Exercise of Self-care Agency Scale(ESCA)and The Urostomy Education Scale(need Chinesization). The establishment of a database survey data, statistical analysis was performed using SPSS20.0statistital software. The statistical methods include:single factor analysis, t test, Kruskal-wallis test and Pearson correlation analysis. Results:1. There are19patients(31.7%) at the high level of self-care agency,41patents(68.3%) at the middle level before discharge in the ESCA.2. There are25patients(41.7%) at the high level of self-care agency,18patents(30%) at the middle level and17patents(28%) at the low level before discharge in the Urostomy Education Scale.3. Through single factor analysis,t test and H test, we know that the influence statistical factors of self-care agency include the education level, living conditions, the APN training and the potential impact of self-care disease. Through Pearson analysis, we kown that the statistical factors conclude social support and age.Conclusions:1. The self-care agency of the bladder cancer patients with ileal conduit before discharge is at a middle level, in Zhejiang province.2. Influence factors of the bladder cancer patients’self-care agency with ileal conduit before discharge include age, the education level, living conditions, the APN training, the potential impact of self-care disease and social support.
