Objective: To explore serum interleukin-17(IL-17) and IL-17rs763780genepolymorphism and the relationship between hyperthyroidism, uygur patients withhyperthyroidism and han hyperthyroidism patients serum IL-17and its genepolymorphism whether there is a difference.Methods: Choose the incipient,193patientswith untreated hyperthyroidism (Uighur99cases, han ethnic group,94cases) and188cases of healthy physical examination(Uighur97cases, han ethnic group,91cases)as thehealthy control group, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent method to detect serum IL-17. Using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysismethod (PCR-RFLP) determination of hyperthyroidism patients193cases,188cases ofnormal controls of IL-17rs763780gene polymorphism.Results: Case group comparedwith control group, the serum level of IL-17increased significantly, the difference wasstatistically significant, Uighur hyperthyroidism patients compared with han patients withhyperthyroidism, significantly increased serum levels of IL-17, the difference wasstatistically significant. In the hyperthyroidism group, the serum level of IL-17andTRAb, FT3, FT4were positively correlated(r=0.139, P<0.05;r=0.159, P<0.05;r=0.047, P<0.01). Case group compared with healthy controls, IL-17rs763780alleleand genotype frequency distribution, the difference was statistically significant.Uighur hyperthyroidism atients compared with han patients, IL-17rs763780allele andgenotype frequency distribution, there was no statistically significant difference.Hyperthyroidism group of three different genotypes between serum level of IL-17aredifferent.Conclusion: IL-17prompt its high expression in patients with hyperthyroidismis associated with the onset of hyperthyroidism.IL-17rs763780gene polymorphism isassociated with the onset of hyperthyroidism, such as further explore IL-17singlenucleotide polymorphisms with hyperthyroidism exact relationship, especially with the relationship between Uighur hyperthyroidism patients has yet to multicenter, large sampleresearch and many sites.
