ObjectiveTo summarize and analyze our experience in intraoperative ultrasound aided surgicaltreatment of hepatolithiasis, explore the values of intraoperative ultrasound used inhepatolithiasis.MethodsWe collect Patients with hepatolithiasis in our hospital from March2012to February2014who used intraoperative ultrasound application in the surgical treatment asobservation group, and collected Patients with hepatolithiasis from January2010toFebruary2014who was not applied by intraoperative ultrasound in the surgical treatmentas the control group, the observation group71cases, including29males and42females,aged32to74years, mean49years. Three patients had no clinical symptoms, others hadvarying degrees of abdominal discomfort, pain, continuous or intermittent episodes ofrepeated seizures,22cases accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever16cases,13caseswith varying degrees of jaundice. The control group63cases,26males and37females,aged33to71years, mean46years. Two patients found had hepatolithiasis during exami-nation, no obvious clinical symptoms, others had varying degrees of abdominal discomfort, pain, continuous or intermittent episodes of repeated seizures,25cases accompanied bynausea, vomiting, and18cases with fever,11cases with varying degrees of jaundice. Wevalue the values of intraoperative ultrasound in hepatolithiasis surgery through comparethe recovery and postoperative residual stone rate of the patients who used intraoperativeultrasound in surgery and not. ResultsIn this study, patients had no wrong organ damage and bleeding in the observationgroup, there were10patients had fever and7patients had jaundice or jaundice worse aftersurgery. There are5patients had retained stones in the imaging review after2weeks ofsurgery, the stones residual rate is about7.6%. The control group, there are18patientshad postoperative fever and15cases with jaundice or jaundice increased, there are21patients had retained stones and stones residual rate is about33.9%.ConclusionIntraoperative ultrasound main advantages are:(1)the intraoperative ultrasoundprovides accurate information of hepatolithiasis and help the doctor select the appropriatesurgical approach for the surgery.(2)intraoperative ultrasound can accurately locate thehepatolithiasis, reduces surgical trauma and improve the efficiency of the stones removed, greatly reducing the rate of residual stone stones. Intraoperative ultrasound surgery is auseful means in the surgical treatment of hepatolithiasis.
