The Effects Of New Xue Fu Zhu Yu Decoction On Artherosclerosis Plaque And Inflammation Factors In Rabbits

Objective:To investigates the mechanism of the inflammatory factors such as fibrinogen, hypersensitive C-reaction protein, interleukin-18, monocyte chemoattractant protein-1, matrix metalloproteinase-9of the AS plaques of experimental rabbit models by therapy of the new Xue Fu Zhu Yu decoction.Methods:24healthy male purebred rabbits of New Zealand were randomly divided into4groups after2weeks feeding observation adaptability, control group(CG n=6), model group(MG n=6), treatment group of new Xue Fu Zhu Yu decoction(XFTG n=6) and treatment group of atorvastatin calcium (ACTG n=6). The CG rabbits were feed with the ordinary food, the other three groups were all made into AS models.Do not give MG rabbits any drug treatment.MG and other two treatment groups were feed with high-lipid diet for about12weeks.Compare the statistics with SPSS11.5and observe the pictures.Result:Compared with CG before the treatment, the level of Fg、hs-CRP、IL-18、 MCP-land MMP-9of the other three groups increased significantly (P<0.01).The level of the five inflammatory factors declined significantly after the treatment in the two groups (P<0.05). The level of the five inflammatory factors declined more in XFTG than in ACTG after the treatment (P<0.05). Compared with CG, the positive cells express percentage of MCP-land MMP-9in the other three groups increased significantly(p<0.01).Compared with MG, the percentage of the two treatment groups all decreased obviously(P<0.05). Compared with ACTG, the percentage of XFTG decreased obviously(P<0.05).Conclusion:The level of Fg、hs-CRP、IL-18、MCP-land MMP-9and the positive cells express percentage reduced more in XFTG than in ACTG. We can draw the conclusion that the combination of new Xue Fu Zhu Yu decoction can achieve better block or delay progression of vulnerable plaques. The functions mainly take effect through the following several aspects, suchAs restraining the levels of inflammatory factors of rabbits’AS plaque, and stabilizing AS plaque.We can infer that the levels of inflammatory factors maybe an important element to decide plaque vulnerability.
