Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified BuyangHuanwu decoction inpatients with unstable angina pectoris of qi deficiency and blood stasis, to explore themechanism, to evaluate its efficacy and safety, intended for clinical treatment of unstableangina pectoris with practical and valuable therapeutic way. Methods: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the Affiliated Hospital ofShandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine the outpatient department ofCardiology and Department of internal medicine of60inpatients with, the prospectiverandomized control trial, divided into experimental group and controlgroup. No statistically significant difference between the two groups of patientswith general situation. The control group using routine western medicine treatment, thetest group were treated with modified BuyangHuanwu decoction on the basis ofconventional western medicine treatment, one dose daily, morning and eveningmeal halfhour warm. After4weeks, the clinical curative effect evaluation. Observed andcompared the two groups before and after treatment of symptoms frequency, everytime, decrease rate of nitroglycerin, blood pressure, heart rate, laboratory examinationresults (total cholesterol, triglyceride, low density lipoprotein, high densityipoprotein, fibrinogen, fasting blood glucose, ECG),TCM syndrome. To observe thechanges of liver and kidney function in the two groups before and after treatment. Results: After a4week clinical study confirmed that, in the experimentalgroup, symptom frequency, lasting time, decrease rate of nitroglycerin, traditional Chinesemedicine symptoms curative effect is better than that of the control group (P <0.05); in theexperimental group, the blood pressure and heart rate in terms oflower than the controlgroup (P <0.05); experimental group is superior to ECG examination results to improve the level of control group (P <0.05);experimental group blood index decreased than that inthe control group (P <0.05); the experimental group and the control group before and aftertreatmentin the control of fasting blood glucose had no significant changes (P>0.05);theexperimental group and the control group before and after treatment in liver andkidney function security had no obvious change (P>0.05).Conclusion: Clinical studies have demonstrated that the clinicalsymptoms by modified BuyangHuanwu decoction can effectively improve the deficiencyof Qi and blood stasis in patients with unstable angina pectoris, its mechanism may berelated with the expansion of coronary artery, increase the perfusion of coronaryartery blood flow, stabilityand reduce plaque, control of blood pressure and heart rate andso on, itssafety and tolerability were good, worthy of further application and promotion.
