Literature Research On Moxibustion Analgesia Based On Documents Of Recent Thirty Years

Purpose:To conclude the attending disease spectrum of Moxibustion Analgesia and the symptom types and mechanism by comprehensively collecting and analyzing the clinical documents of recent thirty years. Then analyze the quality of clinical literature, and provide a reference theory for the pain treatment.Methods:Computer retrieval was used in the study. This study searched the China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI), WanFang Database (WF) and WeiPu Internet (VIP) for documents from January1,1984to December31,2013by keywords or themes "Moxibustion" and "pain" and then screened the retrieved documents and dovetailed the eligible documents and did analyzing.Results:467documents were used, among them393are clinical,24are experimental,32are theoretical,345are proven cases,7are clinical experience. The clinical documents include23650patient cases and20006are effective,301used Moxibustion with moxa and another89without. Among the cases,247are about somatalgia and124about visceralgia. The23machine rational documents include4clinical literatures and19experimental literatures.Conclusion:1.Moxibustion is widely used in clinic to cure pain diseases. The most commonly used methods are mild Moxibustion, ginger Moxibustion and so on.2. The treatment of diseases is varied and mostly diseases are somatic and chronic pain. Classified according to systems, Moxibustion is mainly used in motor system and skin and soft tissue system. The most frequent diseases are knee arthritis, herpes zoster, dysmenorrheal, stomachache etc.3. There are little documents about Moxibustion track.4. The mechanism is still not completely clear.
