Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy Of Patellofemoral Osteoarthritis Through Arthroscopy And Tibial Tubercle Anteromedial Transfer

Objective: To investigate clinical efficacy of patellofemoral osteoarthritis througharthroscopy and tibial tubercle anteromedial transfer.Methods: We retrospectively reviewed69cases of69knees from the OrthopedicsDepartment of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong Traditional Chinese Medicine Universityfrom2011Dec to2013Feb for a period of11months to18months follow-up, average12.5months. According to the operation treatment we have comprehensive(arthroscopicdebridement and lateral retinacular release combined elevation of tibial tubercle) group andsimple arthroscopic (arthroscopic treatment of arthroscopic lateral retinacular release)group, and get the preoperative and postoperative Lysholm score and VAS score andpatellofemoral matching and patellar tilt angle and lateral shift of radiological indexes forevaluation. Compare the observation indexes in the same group and between the twogroups before and after surgery of paired T test and two groups of gender proportion by χ2test, using SPSS20.0software package, and P <0.05is statistic significant difference.Result: In the comprehensive group after operation, the excellent and good rate was86.1%,and simple arthroscopy group was51.5%. the excellent and good rate of the twogroups by paired T test (P <0.05) is significant difference and the comprehensive group incurative effect is higher than the simple arthroscopy group.Conclusion: Arthroscopy and Tibial Tubercle Anteromedial Transfer in the treatmentof patellofemoral osteoarthritis has a clear effect during recent clinical observation andcan improve the overall function of knee joint and relieve anterior knee pain. In thecourse of treatment there is no significant complication,the arthroscopic techniquecombined with tibial tubercle transfer operation method provides a safe and effective treatment option for the clinical and has a wide prospect of clinical application and it isworth further study.
