The Clinical Research On Chinese Traditional Medicine Combined With Alendronate For The Treatment Of Femoral Head Osteonecrosis In Early Stage

Objective: With early femoral head osteonecrosis in patients as research object,the research of the efficacy and safety of combining traditional Chinese medicine withalendronate in the treatment of early femoral head osteonecrosis is conducted toprovide clinical method for the treatment of early femoral head necrosis.Method: In the clinical study, the65patients with femoral head osteonecrosis ofARCO II and IIIA stage were randomly divided into two groups, the traditionalChinese medicine combined with alendronate was used in33cases as the treatedgroup compared with32case only treated by traditional Chinese medicine as thecontrol group. Every three months as a course of treatment, and after two courses toevaluate the treatment efficacy of these two groups. Then the changes and differencesof treatment scores was compared before and after the treatment.Results: Through the clinical and experimental study, the curative effect of thetreated group is better than that of the control group. especially in the aspect ofimproving the hip activity and function, as well as preventing the collapse of thefemoral head.Conclusion: The curative effect of the traditional Chinese medicine withalendronate in the treatment of early femoral head osteonecrosis is more better thanthe group only with traditional Chinese medicine treatment, especially in preventingthe collapse of the femoral head and improve patient function, and the long effectneeds further research.
