Objective:To discuss and analyze the correlation between the impact that carotidatherosclerotic put on MCI and carotid atherosclerotic with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)to provide evidence for early treatment of MCI by neck vascular color Doppler ultrasound(CDFI) and transcranial Doppler (TCD) through the evaluation of the carotid atheroscleroticfeatures of mild cognitive impairment patients. Methods:Simple elder lacunar infarction but non-MCI and non-dementia patientsand select the59elder lacunar infarction (LI) patients who met the inclusion criteria. All thepatients were conducted by Montreal Cognitive Assessment tables (MOCA), Fuld Digit SpanTest (DS),object memory test (FOM), WISC block design (BD), fast Vocabulary Test (RVR),and the fast Vocabulary Test (RVR),and examed by neck vascular color Doppler ultrasound(CDFI),transcranial Doppler (TCD), Results among different groups and within the groupwere analyzed by statistical software.Results:1.The differences between the control group were not statistically significantin age, gender, education level, smoking, drinking etc, and study group (MCI group)2.The triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL), blood glucose of MCI group weresignificantly higher compared with those in control group, high density lipoprotein (HDL)was significantly lower compared with those in control group (P <0.05).3..MCI group FOM score, BD score, RVR scores and MOCA scores were significantlylower than the control group (P=0.00); language MCI group, orientation, executive function, and MCI group visuospatial attention, delayed other ratings and memories weresignificantly lower than the control group (P <0.05, P <0.01);there were no significantdifferences in the abstract score between the two groups (P>0.05); the back scores of MCIgroup were significantly lower compared with control group (P=0.00), there were nosignificant differences in Span Test score between the two groups (P>0.05).4.Compared with control group the IMT thickness of MCI group was significantly higher(P<0.05), the MOCA score of the patients with normal IMT were significantly highercompared with those with thick IMT (P <0.05).5.The degree of stenosis of MCIgroup and prevalence of carotid plaques, were significantlyhigher than the control group (p <0.05).6. The patients of MCI with intracranial arterial abnormalities accounted for57.6%,by TCD examination. The part with slow blood flow velocity accounted for44.1%, and the number ofnarrow cases were significantly higher of MCI group compared with control group (P <0.05).Conclusion:1. High triglycerides, High blood sugar, the increase of LDL and the decreaseof HDL are all the risk for the LI patients suffering from MCI, they can increase the risk ofpatients suffering from MCI.2. The happening of the MIC has a closly relationship to the Carotid atherosclerosis. Thecombination of CDFI and TCD have more comprehensive evaluation about extracranialcarotid artery of MCI patients, the intracranial, also have specific, comprehensive assess andefficient in the vascular, extracranial carotid artery and hemodynamic evaluation ofintracranial. It can also be used to detect the disorders of external carotid artery andintracranial, which can be helpful to detect the patients with high risk of MCI, it can may beused to provide early clinical intervention to delay or to prevent the occurrence of MCI.3.LI Patients also in MCI,aftet that case, will have a significantly impaired in visual spatial, executive function, memory, attention, also orientation and function, the most severelydamaged are attention, instantaneous memory, visual spatial and executive disorders, But thedamage is almost the same as LI patients in speech, naming and abstract.
