As an important major crop in Guangxi, the social and economic benefits brought from the development of Illicium verum made it become one of the pillar industries. Along with our country people’s living standards and environmental awareness increasing, how to develop the Illicium verum of Guangxi sustainably becomes a hot spot of current research. This thesis taken flavonoids from Illicium verum residue as the main objects and in order to do some foresights for Illicium verum sustainable development, the researches start to study the flavonoids from Illicium verum residue from its biological activities.Through the feature chromogenic reaction of flavonoids and UV-vis spectrophotometry with NaNO2-Al(NO3)3-NaOH, the categories and quantitative analysis methods of flavonoids from Illicium verum residue were established preliminarily.Through the single-factor and response surface experiments, the extraction process of flavonoids from Illicium verum residue by enzymatic hydrolysis of cellulose assisting ultrasonic were studied in this experiment and ethanol concentration, liquid/solid, pH were considered as the main factor. In this experiment, the optimum parameters about extraction were concluded as follows:ethanol concentration 51.14%, liquid/solid ratio 20.52 mL/g, enzymolysis pH 5.303, the rest were ultrasonic time 60 min, enzymolysis temperature 45℃, with enzyme adding amount 70 mg/g, enzymolysis time 2 h, mesh of raw material 24-50, the optimal extraction yield was 14.76%, the yield of cellulose assistant extraction was improved by 45.42% with compare of ultrasonic extraction alone.The mesh of 30-60 was determined as the optimal mesh of polyamide purification for flavonoids from Illicium verum residue; through the single factor and orthogonal design experiment, the static absorption and desorption conditions were optimized as follow:sample concentration was 0.05 g/mL(Crude drug concentration), pH 5.0, diameter-height ratio of column 1:12, flow rate 1-2 BV/h, saturated adsorption volume 7.5-8 BV, after being saturated adsorption, the polyamide resin column was washed with distilled water until Molish were negative, with 4 BV 90% ethanol elution volume, at desorption rate of 70.77%, collect flow of fluid, recycling ethanol at 60℃, the purity of flavonoids from dry matter medium was 87.5%.To study in vitro antioxidant activity of flavonoids from Illicium verum residue, the total antioxidant capacity and the effect on clearing ·OH and ·O2- radicals of flavonoids from Illicium verum residue were measured, and the experiment results show flavonoids from Illicium verum residue have the significant antioxidation activity, though its under the same concentration of VC, which have a certain relationship with the effect of extraction and purification.To study the biological activities of antagonism D-galactose oxidative damage through the animals experiment, and the results show the flavonoids from Illicium verum residue can effectively antagonist mice weight and organ atrophy from oxidative damage, improve the mice living conditions and the activity of SOD, GSH-Px in liver tissue and brain tissue.
