Because the traditional labial orthodontic treatment process in the teeth lip side brackets and arch wires exposed, can not meet the aesthetic orthodontic process requirements. The lingual orthodontic appliances have been installed due to the tongue side of the teeth, in appearance than any orthodontic devices. It is because of the aesthetics of good appliance, lingual orthodontic gradually by patients of all ages. But lingual orthodontics compared with conventional labial orthodontics, teeth lingual surface force, due to the anatomical characteristics of the lingual side of the tooth is rather special, making the lingual orthodontic tooth movement mechanics mechanism compared with labial orthodontics there is a big difference, the conventional method for labial orthodontic mechanics can not be completely set for lingual orthodontics. At present, in lingual orthodontics, tooth movement and predict the development of surgical programs rely mainly on physician experience, the lack of quantitative data, poor results can be expected. In this study, first proposed the tooth movement for innovative ideas to simplify the movement of the two points, and points out orthodontic force- periodontal ligament strain-between the quantitative relationship between the amount of tooth movement through finite element analysis of the relationship between the three, so establishment of the lingual orthodontic tooth movement mathematical model. The main work and achievements are as follows:(1) proposed in lingual orthodontics among teeth simplified rod, through the neck and roots of two points to describe the idea of three-dimensional movement of the teeth in. The tradition with M / F to describe the way the teeth move in two dimensions to any move to promote the three-dimensional space.(2) Correction of force on the teeth, resulting in strained ligament promote tooth movement, orthodontic force, the quantitative relationship exists between periodontal ligament strain, the amount of tooth movement. By analyzing the role of orthodontic force, strain periodontal membrane surface can predict movement of the teeth, so as to establish a corrective force- periodontal ligament strain- the relationship between the amount of tooth movement.(3) by the finite element simulation results of the analysis of experimental data and existing research in the amount of movement of the teeth to fit in order to establish a corrective force- periodontal ligament strain- a mathematical model between the amount of tooth movement.(4) Finally, the mathematical model of the lingual orthodontic tooth movement was evaluated by simulating clinical conditions, the role of orthodontic arch wire, typical of several forms of malocclusion, mathematical model can predict Mobile Trends teeth, and the teeth can be moved within a period of sustained, dynamic simulation.
