Analysis Of Clinical Efficacy Of Total Gastrectomy Surgery With Jejunal Loop For Carcinoma Of Gastric Cardia

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of total gastrectomy surgery with jejunal loop for carcinoma of gastric cardia. Methods:Clinical data of 112 patients with carcinoma of gastric cardia in People’s Hospital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from september 2010 to september 2012 were retrospectively enrolled in this study, they were randomly divided into observed group (55 cases) and control group (57 cases). Patients in observed group received the treatment of total gastrectomy surgery with jejunal loop, while others received the treatment of proximal gastrectomy.The fllowed-up time of each group was one year. The operation time, intraoperative bleeding, length of hospital stay, the rate of postoperative anastomotic fistula,anastomotic stenosis, reflux esophagitis and dumping syndrom,and also daily diet times, each diet amount of the two groups were compared. Results:There was no significant difference in the general date of the two groups, including gender, age, the diameter of tumor and the staging of tumor(P> 0.05). The observed factors were comparable. There was no significant difference in operation time, intraoperative bleeding, length of hospital stay, the rate of postoperative anastomotic fistula, anastomotic stenosis and dumping syndrom between the two groups (P> 0.05). The rate of reflux esophagitis, daily diet times, each diet amount in the observed group were better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:Total gastrectomy surgery with jejunal loop for carcinoma of gastric cardia can improve the quality of life. It is worthy of clinical promotion.
