Objective:To evaluate the differences of image quality with different BMI and heart rate.using retrospectively ECG-gated coronary angiography with DSCT, in order to analyze the effect of different BMI and heart rate for objective and subjective image quality of CCTA.Methods:To study from December 2014 to January 2015,122 patients suspected of coronary heart disease were scanned by DSCT with retrospectively ECG-gated reconstruct scan mode,18 of them didn’t meet to the standards and rejected. The last 104 were divided into group A (n=58,100kV) and group B(n=46,120kV).Then, the patients in two groups were respectively divided into less, medium and more BMI group, while they were divided into low and high heart rate group, according to average heart rate.To discuss the differentiation of objective and subjective image quality with less BMI and low heart rate versus more BMI and high heart rate.Results:(1)GroupA(100kV,BMI20.3-33.8kg/m2,HR50-111bpm),there was satistically significant difference in objective image quality between different BMI and heart rate groups by 100kV (P< 0.05),there was no satistically significant difference in subjective image quality between different BMI and heart rate groups by 100kV (P> 0.05). (2)GroupB(120kV,BMI20.5-33.7kg/m2,HR52-108bpm),There was no satistically significant difference in objective and subjective image quality between different BMI and heart rate by 120kV(P> 0.05).Conclusion:CCTA performed by retrospectively ECG-gated reconstruct scan mode,excellent/satisfactory image quality for clinical diagnosis could be provide by different BMI and heart rate within certain limits.
