Objective:To analyze the pregnancy outcomes of the complicated twins diagn osed by obstetrics ultrasound.Methods:154 cases of complicated twins and 158 cas es of non-complicated twins were retrospectively studied from January 2005 to Se ptember 2014.complicated twins were composed of four groups,I:single fetal death (n=100),II:singular twin malformation (n=21),Ⅲ:twin-twin transfusion (n=19),IV: twin reversed arterial perfusion (n=14).Results:The full term birth rates and fetal-neonatal survival rates of complicated twins were lower than those of non-complic ated twins(P<0.05).There were significant differences of full term birth rates and fetal-neonatal survival rates survival and malformation incidence rates between four groups of complicated twins. The full term birth rates and fetal-neonatal survival r ates of singular twin malformation group were higher than twin-twin transfusion gr oup(P<0.05),and malformation incidence rates of complicated twins was lower tha n twin-twin transfusion group (P<0.05).The fetal-neonatal survival rates of single fetal death group was higher than twin-twin transfusion group(P<0.0083),and malformation incidence rates was lower than twin-twin transfusion group(P<0.0083 ).Conclusion:Complicated twins take a worse outcomes than non-complicated ones, not only normal fetal but also abnormal ones were affected.twin-twin transfusion t ake the worst outcome between four groups.and obstetrics ultrasound bring signific ant meaning for complicated twins.
