Objectives:Explore relationship between metabolic syndrome (MS) with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome differentiation and cystatin C (CysC), serum beta 2 microglobulin(Sβ2-MG) and urine micro albumin (UmAlb) belonging to renal damage sensitive markers, so as to provide a objective basis for metabolic syndrome microcosmic syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).Methods:Choose MS patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome differentiation phlegmy wet YongSheng type 30 cases, phlegm and blood stasis mutual type 30 cases, blood stasis resistance type 30 cases, and healthy check-up 30 cases. Collect patients’ weight, height, waist circumference,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP), total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), fasting plasma glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(P2hBG), CysC, Sβ2-MG and UmAlb, And collected the four diagnosis and syndrome of TCM; According to the above data to calculate body mass index(BMI), recorded the symptom score and TCM syndrome type. The data were collected to establish a database, using SPSS 19.0 statistical software for comparative analysis.Results:1.There were differences in SBP, DBP, TC and FPG in MS phlegm and blood stasis mutual type compared with phlegmy wet YongSheng type and blood stasis resistance type, there was a difference in P2hBG between phlegm and blood stasis mutual type and phlegmy wet YongSheng type, there were differences in TG, HDL-C, LDL-C, waist circumference and BMI between phlegm and blood stasis mutual type and blood stasis resistance type, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.01), the difference of LDL-C between phlegm and blood stasis mutual type and phlegmy wet YongSheng type had statistical significance(P<0.05).2.The differences of CysC, Sβ2-MG and UmAlb in MS phlegm and blood stasis mutual type compared with phlegmy wet YongSheng type, blood stasis resistance type and healthy control group had statistical significance(P<0.01).3.All of CysC, Sβ2-MG and UmAlb were positively related to SBP, DBP, LDL-C, FPG and BMI and negatively related to HDL-C, both Sβ2-MG and UmAlb were positively related to TG and waist circumference, which had statistical significance(P< 0.01), CysC was positively related to waist circumference, which had statistical significance(P<0.05).4.There were differences in form of obesity, heart palpitations, chest tightness, head heavy as wrapped, insomnia, abdominal swelling, forgetful and nocturia more among different CysC, SP2-MG and UmAlb level groups, there was a difference in dizziness in different CysC level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P< 0.01), there were differences in anorexia among different CysC, Sp2-MG and UmAlb level groups, there were differences in fatigue between different CysC and UmAlb level groups, there were differences in dizziness between different Sp2-MG and UmAlb level groups, there was a difference in head tingling and limb swelling respectively in different Sβ2-MG and UmAlb level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).5.There were differences purple tongue between different CysC and UmAlb level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05), there were differences purple tongue in different Sβ2-MG level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.01).6.There were differences moss white greasy in different CysC level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.01), there were differences moss white greasy in different Sβ2-MG level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).7.There were differences pulse heavy between different CysC and Sβ2-MG level groups, the differences had statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.CysC, S(32-MG and UmAlb overall level in the metabolic syndrome patients with phlegm and blood stasis mutual type all elevate compared with phlegmy wet YongSheng type and blood stasis resistance type.2.CysC, Sβ2-MG and UmAlb may be used as one of objective basises of metabolic syndrome phlegm and blood stasis mutual syndrome differentiation in TCM.
