Objective:By studying chronic subdural hematoma(CSDH) in patients with subdural hematoma and outer membrane, and matrix metalloproteinase-2(MMP-2), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) expression, to explore two of the CSDH the role and potential clinical significance of the occurrence and development. Methods:Collected 40 cases by CT or MRI CSDH diagnosed patients, rule out blood diseases, past medical history and long-term dialysis anticoagulant drugs, in local or general anesthesia hematoma chronic subdural drilling drainage, intraoperative strict sterile non-enzymatic manipulation, the outer membrane and dural hematoma in patients taking the experimental specimens, including hematoma outer membrane as the experimental group, the dura as a control group, by Western blotting and immunohistochemistry SP method to detect MMP-2, MMP-9 subdural hematoma in the expression of the outer membrane. Then the experimental data collection, classification and meta-analysis, and then by SPSS 18.0 statistical software.Results:1. It was found in the cell membrane and the cytoplasm as the main expression sites MMP-2, MMP-9, both of which were highly expressed in the outer membrane of the hematoma, the corresponding expression was low or no expression in the dura.2.Western blotting test results: MMP-2 content in the outer membrane of the the outer membrane of the hematoma was 3.842 ± 1.386 ng / ml; MMP-2 in the dura the content was 2.865 ± 0.425 ng / ml; MMP-9 content in the dura was 1.384 ± 0.238 ng / ml. hematoma was 6.943 ± 3.652 ng / ml; MMP-9 content in3. Immunohistochemistry Results: The expression rate in both the outer membrane of the hematoma: MMP-2: 75%(30/40), MMP-9: 77.5%(31/40); both positive expression in the dura rate: MMP-2: 77.5%(31/40), MMP-9: 25%(10/40).4.MMP-2, MMP-9 expression in the outer membrane of the hematoma in the dura than expression was significantly higher, there is a significant difference.(P <0.05).5.MMP-2, MMP-9 expression in CSDH with sex, age, single-sided hematoma occurred and whether a history of trauma, such as no significant correlation.(P> 0.05).Conclusions:1.CSDH hematoma formation of new blood vessels present in the outer membrane, MMP-2, MMP-9 in its form, may affect the occurrence of CSDH.2.Further CSDH hematoma formation of new blood vessels in the outer membrane, between MMP-2 and MMP-9 expression was positively correlated, in which joint action.3.CSDH patient’s gender, age, clinical features, hematoma occurred and whether unilateral or bilateral and CSDH history of trauma and other expressions of MMP-2, MMP-9 and no significant correlation.
