The Viral Metagenomics Of Rodents In The Intestinal Tracts In Yunnan Province,china

Objective:The aim is to fully understand viral flora in the wild and domestic rodents,which guide the isolation and identification novel rodent viruses and invetigate the epidemic situation of the major rodent viruses in human and rodent population. The reults are helpful for future prevention and control of human emerging diseases transmitted by rodents.Methods:The project was on the basis of initial research on murine virus with metagenomics, random PCR and high-throughput sequencing technologies. The 212 samples collected in seven regions of Yunnan Province were analyzed with high-throughput genomic.Results:The detected murine viruses belong to 36 viruse families, in which RNA viruses including Picornaviridae, Dicistroviridae, unclassified Picornavirales, Secoviridae, Reoviridae,Retroviridae,Tectiviridae, Tombusviridae, Totiviridae, Virgaviridae,Alphatetraviridae,Astroviridae,Bunyaviridae,Carmotetraviridae,Closteroviridae,Iridoviridae,Leviviridae,Nodaviridae,Picobirnaviridae. However, DNA viruses were related to Siphoviridae,Myoviridae,unclassified Caudovirales,Podoviridae,Herpesviridae,Polyomaviridae,Adenoviridae,Bidnaviridae,Circoviridae,Geminiviridae,Inoviridae,M arseilleviridae Microviridae, Mimiviridae, Partitiviridae, Parvoviridae,Phycodnaviridae, as well as unclassified viruses.Conclusion:There were 36 virus families in the intestinal tract of rodents in Yunnan Province. It was found that a new type of murine adenovirus;Viral metagenomics is a nice method for the analysis of rodent intestinal virus.
