ObjectiveAfter investigate temporal approach under the canopy microsurgical treatment of petroclival meningioma clinical results, in order to choose the best surgical method to improve the clinical diagnosis and treatment.MethodsSeptember 2010 September 2014 35 cases of petroclival meningioma patients for the study, under the canopy herein are temporal approach by microsurgical treatment, observed changes in the relevant index after treatment. Results:After the death of three cases, the rate was 8.57%, complications with neurological dysfunction, accounting for 40%; before surgery and after surgery, and at follow-up at all before surgery neurological difference was statistically significant (p<0.05); before surgery and after surgery, before surgery and follow-up, and during follow-up (with the exception of grade â…¢-â…¤ level) ouse-Brackmann grading facial nerve function were statistically significant difference after surgery (p<0.05); KPS score at discharge was 78.12% total effective, follow-up was 88.89%, between the two is statistically significant (p <0.05).Conclusion1.The success of surgery for petroclival meningiomas greatly depend on the effective imaging data.2.Under the Canopy temporal approach microsurgical treatment of petroclival meningiomas significant clinical effect.3.The main complication of surgery for petroclival meningiomas is neurological dysfunction.4.Diferent ways for different types petroclival meningiomas. |
