Objective:To investigate the effects of different frequency stimulation on paroxysmal atrial fibrillation canine atrial and pulmonary vein electrophysiological. Recording and analyzing signals vagus nerve and sympathetic to reveal the heart of the autonomic nervous system in the form of atrial fibrillation. Methods:In 14 adult beagle dogs randomly divided into two groups:500bpm group,500 times per minute rapid atrial pacing (n=7). 1000bpm group,1000 times per minute rapid atrial pacing (n=7). (1) Multielectrode catheters were sutured to pulmonary veins and atria. At baseline and after pacing every 2 hours, programmed stimulation determined the effective refractory period (ERP), dispersion effective refractory period (dERP), AF inducibility and duration of atrial fibrillation. Use LabChart Pro Professional data acquisition and analysis software, either take 300 seconds per hour nerve signal pattern for analysis.(2) Compare canine vagal and sympathetic per hour change in discharge signal amplitude, signal area, discharge duration, signal integration and other aspects.Results:(1)500bpm group AF induction rates, AF duration, ERP, dERP were below 1000 bpm group. Effects on AF induction rates:RA in 2h,4h,6h,8h; RSPV in 4h、6h、 8h、10h、12h; RIPV in 8h、10h、12h、14h、16h; LSPV in 2h,4h,6h,8h,10h; LA, LIPV in 2h,4h,6h,8h,10h,12h have statistically significant (P<0.05); Effects on AF duration, RA in 4h,6h,8h,10h,12h,14h,16h; RSPV in 6h、8h、10h、12h、14h、16h, RIPV in 8h、10h、12h、14h、16h; LA、LSPV、LIPV in 2h,4h,6h,8h, 10h,12h,14h,16h have statistically significant (P<0.05);Effects on ERP:RA in 4h,6h, RSPV in 4h、6h、 8h; RIPV in 2h, LA in 2h,4h,6h,8h,LIPV in 4h,6h,8h; LSPV in 2h,4h,6h have statistically significant (P<0.05);Effects on dERP:dERP in 4h,6h have statistically significant (P <0.05). (2) SOObpm group and 1000bpm group stellate ganglion discharge signal duration compared to except Oh, 1h,6h,7h,8h were different (P<0.05), Signal amplitude at 3h,4h,5h,6h, the signal in the area 1h,2h,3h,4h,5h differences (P<0.05), except the signal integration Oh,7h were different (P<0.05); 500bpm group and fans 1000pm group when compared to vagus nerve discharge signal process except 6h,7h,8h,9h,10h, 11h,12h were different (P<0.05), the signal amplitude at 1h,2h,3h differences (P<0.05) The signal area except Oh were different (P<0.05), the signal integration except 3h,4h, 6h were different (P<0.05); 500bpm group stellate ganglion and vagus nerve compared to discharge signal in 2h,3h,4h,5h, the signal amplitude at 1h,2h,3h,4h,5h,6h, signal area in 1h,2h,3h,4h,5h,6h, signal integration in 2h,3h,4h,5h,6h differences (P<0.05); 1000bpm group stellate ganglion and vagus nerve discharge signal process in 13h,14h, 15h,16h, signal amplitude at 1h,2h,3h,4h,5h, signal area 1h,2h,3h,6h,13h differences compared to (P<0.05), the signal integration except 3h,4h,9h, there are differences (P<0.05) 10h outside (P<0.05 considered statistically significant). Conclusion:The frequency dependent effects of electrical stimulation on electrophysiology of atrium an pulmonary vein in rapid pacing induced AF canine models. High-frequency electrical stimulation more easily activate atrial cardiac autonomic nervous system.
