Objective:To analyze CT and MR signs and diagnostic value of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms( IPMN) of the pancreas.Materials and Methods:CT and MRI signs of 28 cases with pathologically proved IPMN were analyzed retrospectively.Results:3 cases of IPMN were located in main pancreatic duct with dilatation of main pancreatic duct. Mural nodules in the dilatated main duct showed homogeneous enhancement in 1 case. 19 cases of IPMN located in branch pancreatic duct showed multilocular or unilocular cystic tumors with septa. 6 cases displayed multilocular or unilocuclar cystic tumors with dilatated pancreatic main ducts. Associated with acute pancreatitis in 3 cases, swelling of the pancreas and peripancreatic exudation, pancreatic duct dilatation; 8 cases of malignant change, for local pancreatic solid cystic mass, enhanced uneven enhancement or weak reinforcers in the pancreatic parenchyma, dilatation of the pancreatic duct. Conclusion:CT and MRI play an important role in diagnosing and differential diagnosing of IPMN.
