Objective:To study the expression of Bif-1 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma(cc RCC),and analyze their roles and relationship between clinicopathological features. In order to investigate what is the effect and clinical significance of Bif-1 during the process of cc RCC carcinogenesis development and invasion. It maybe provide the evidence for gene diagnosis and therapy. Methods : Select renal cell carcinoma tissues which have undergone radical nephrectomy and without radiotherapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and target treatment before the surgery. The m RNAs and proteins of Bif-1 in cc RCC surgical specimens and their Peritumoral tissue samples were detected by RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry respectively, and analyze their roles and relationship between sex、age and TNM、clinical stages. Experimental data is analysised by SPSS 19.0 software. P<0.05 to have significant differences as to inspection standards. Results:the m RNAs of Bif-1 were significantly down-regulated in cc RCC tissues compared to adjacent normal renal tissue(P<0.05).The tendency of the proteins alteration in cc RCC and Peritumoral tissues were correspond with that of the m RNAs(P<0.05).The m RNAs and proteins of Bif-1 were differentiated largely among different groups in terms of cc RCC TNM stages and cc RCC clinical stages(P<0.05), but not age and sex(P>0.05).Conclusion:The expression of Bif-1 in cc RCC decreased, which is negatively related with TNM and clinical stages. Bif-1 may act as marker predicting tumorigenesis, developmentand prognosis of cc RCC.
