Objective Understand the connection between the serum indexes of the patients with hip arthritis and osteoporosis,to explore the clinical relevance of two diseases.Method Collecting the clinical testing indexes of postmenopausal women from the same hospital, grouping: 60 cases of hip arthritis, 109 cases of osteoporosis, 102 cases of osteoporosis(control group), using SPSS18.0 software and dual logistics analysis of variance, regression analysis and other statistical methods to retrospectively compare and analysis the clinical indicators and the correlation of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis.Result BMI and CRP indexes have no correlation between two diseases;Bone mineral density(BMD), bone formation markers(P1NP) showed a negative correlation;However, bone resorption markers(beta CTX), serum ferritin have some correlation.Conclusion Postmenopausal women with hip arthritis and osteoporosis have the impact of factors in " bone transformation and osteoclasts increases", there are still the influence factors of the accumulation of the iron, these phenomena indicate that,the method of prevention and cure for osteoporosis could has potential clinical value for the treatment of osteoarthritis.
