Objective:To study the changes of angiogenic T cells(CD3+ CD31+,Tang) and endothelial progenitor cells(CD31+ CD34+ CD45dim/-, EPCs) in peripheral blood in preeclampsia patients, and to analyses the Tang and EPCs populations in relation to preeclampsia features. Methods :From Mar 2013 to Aug 2014 40 patients with preeclampsia who delivered in the first affiliated hospital of Hunan normal university were recruited as preeclampsia group. 20 cases of them were mild preeclampsia(n=20, mild group) and the remaining 20 cases were severe preeclampsia(n=20, severe group). And 24 healthy women with same age and same stage of pregnancy were selected as the control group. Their blood pressures were normal and they had no obstetrical complications. Determinated the ratio of Tang and EPCs in peripheral blood mono-nuclear cells(PBMC) by flow cytometry between 28 and 40 gestational weeks.Result:(1)No significant differences were observed in the age, prepregnancy body mass index(Pre-BMI) and gestational age at the time of blood samples collection between the three groups(P>0.05).(2)The percentage of Tang cells in control group was(52.66± 8.00)%,was(47.52±8.81)% in mild group, was(45.46±8.75)% in severe group. Analys is of variance showed that difference between groups was significant(P<0.05). SNK q analys is showed there was only significant difference between control group and severe group(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between mild group and severe group, control group and mild group(P>0.05).(3) The percentage of EPCs(CD31+CD34+CD45dim/-)cells in control group was(1.56±0.72)‰,was(0.86±0.73)‰ in mild group, was(0.80±0.47)‰ in severe group. Analysis of variance showed that difference between groups was significant(P<0.05). SNK q analys is showed there was significant difference between control group and severe group, control group and mild group(P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference between mild group and severe group(P>0.05).(4)Correlation analys is :In preeclampsia group(include mild group and sever group), It’s positive correlation between the Tang levels and EPCs levels(r= 0.731,P<0.05).While in control group,it was negative correlation between the Tang levels and EPCs levels, however,it’s without statistically significant difference(r=-0.325, P>0.05).Conclusion:(1) It is concluded that the number of Tang and EPCs are significantly decreased in preeclampsia patients. Both of them are of some correlation with preeclampsia.(2)It’s positive correlation between the level of Tang and the EPCs in preeclampsia.
