Objective:Through the transfer of Qufu system in patients with severe mental illness January 1,2013 to July 31,2014 417 cases of severe mental illness, the basic situation analysis of patients with severe mental illness, hospital costs and its influencing factors, and Description Qufu prevalence of various types of mental illness, as well as the distribution of socio-demographic factors that affect mental illness, screening of high-risk groups, hospital cost structure existing problems and the impact of factors affecting the cost of hospitalization for mental effectively reduce weight economic pressures, as well as patients with severe disease in patients with mental illness and scientific management to provide important reference.Methods:SPSS 21.0 software applications for data analysis and descriptive statistical analysis of the proportions of different categories of expenses severe mental illness and hospitalization costs in the distribution of the different features; factors rank sum test, multiple linear regression method for hospital costs analysis.Results:1. the distribution of the basic characteristics of the patients(1) Gender:Male 246 cases, accounting for 58.99%, female 171 cases, accounting for 41.01%, higher than the proportion of men women 17.98 percent.(2) Age:≤30 years old 104 patients, accounting for 24.94%, the largest proportion, followed by decline for 41-50 years old accounted for 24.22%, accounting for 22.30% 31-40 years old,51-60 years old accounted for 15.35%,> 60 years old accounted for 13.19%.(3) Marital Status:Married patients with 234 cases, accounting for 56.12%, the largest proportion; 131 cases of unmarried patients,31.41%, the proportion of the second.(4) Economic situation:poor patients 224 cases, accounting for 53.72%, the largest proportion; 112 cases of non-poor patients, accounting for 26.86%, the proportion of second; another 81 cases of patients with undetermined economy, accounting for 19.42%.(5) Education:junior high school education in patients with 142 cases, accounting for 34.05%, followed by decline for primary 114 cases, accounting for 27.34 percent, illiteracy 91 cases, accounting for 21.82%, high school or college 25 cases, accounting for 6% of 44 patients with specific education level is unknown.2. the cost of hospitalization characteristics, composition, trends and actual compensation case(1) The cost of hospitalization characteristics:the number of days hospitalized six diseases, the geometric average daily cost of hospitalization and the mean cost of hospitalization was 59 days,8893.03 yuan and 151.99 yuan. Among them, the average number of days in hospital, the mental retardation (with mental disorders) the highest, lowest bipolar disorder; average hospital costs, mental retardation (with mental disorders) highest and lowest manic episode; average daily hospital costs, bipolar disorder highest mental retardation (with mental disorders) minimum.(2) hospitalization fee structure:In the case of hospitalization fee structure, severe mental illness treatment costs constitute more than 67.76%; the lowest proportion of drug costs constitute as 6.92%.(3) trends in hospital costs:Various disease patients were hospitalized with increasing costs and increase the number of days of hospitalization, and the correlation between the size of the order:mental retardation (with mental disorders), schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar affective disorders, epilepsy, mental disorders due.(4) The cost of hospitalization actual compensation cases:severe mental illness actual compensation ratio was 62%, the compensation range within 50% -67%, still can not effectively reduce the burden on families with severe mental illness disorders.3. the cost of hospitalization and enlightenment factors foundUnivariate and multivariate analysis showed that the patient’s gender and marital status impact on hospital costs. Among males than females hospitalization costs; marriage, higher hospital costs widowed people.Conclusions:1.417 cases of patients with severe mental illness, disease. The top six are schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, epilepsy induced mental disorders, mental retardation, schizoaffective disorder, manic episodes.2. Patients with severe mental illness in most people are male, young, poverty and low educational level crowd.3. Number of severe mental illness long hospital stay, higher total cost of hospitalization.4. The cost of hospitalization to treatment costs constitute the main proportion of drug costs a minimum:the composition of the hospitalization costs, and severe mental illness treatment costs constitute more than 67.76%; the lowest proportion of drug costs constitute as 6.92%.5. The number of days of hospitalization costs with increases in hospital:six kinds of cases of the disease are the number of days of hospitalization expenses increased with the increase in hospital, its relevance in the order:mental retardation (with mental disorders), schizoaffective disorder, mental schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, epilepsy, mental disorders due.6. The cost of hospitalization actual compensation is still low, cannot effectively alleviate the economic burden of mental illness Family:severe mental illness hospitalization expenses actual compensation ratio was 62%, the compensation range within 50% -67%, still cannot effectively reduce weight disease burden on families of mental illness.7. Men and widowed people are focus groups with severe mental illness:univariate and multivariate analysis showed that the patient’s gender and marital status influence on hospital costs. Among males than females hospitalization costs; marriage, higher hospital costs widowed people.Suggestions:1. To strengthen publicity and popularization of knowledge of mental health;2. To strengthen government support, greatly increase funding;3. To strengthen the health care system, strengthening health fair;4. Strengthen community building, improve prevention and control network;5. To improve the diagnosis and treatment, shorter hospital stays.
