Research purposes:By evaluating the relationship between patients in MID and Mets, the research is set to find the degree of the relationship and the influence of Mets on MID, which will lead the doctors to give clinical intervention as early as possible, reduce the possibility of developing dementia and to delay the onset of dementia. That will make a great difference in improving patients’ prognosis and life quality as well as reducing the burden of society and family. It bears great value of application in clinical medicine.Research methods:The author successively collected the materials of 85 patients (the objects of the research) hospitalized in neurology of Zaozhuang Municipal Hospital and attacked by cerebral infarction over twice from January to December in 2014. All the objects were divided into group of Mets and group of NMets and were scaled right after admission,1 month and six months after admission according to MMSE, HIS, CDR and NIHSS. Besides, the author measured the waist circumference、blood pressure in fasting state, TG, LDL-C, HDL, FPG,2HPG in OGTT, HbA1c, and FINS, evaluated their IR in HOMA(IR=FINS×FPG/22.5) and conducted OGTT when necessary. The statistics data was analyzed by SPSS 16.0 and that in accordance with normal distribution was signified as, group comparison tested in t; that didn’t fall in normal distribution was noted as p50 (p25, p75), group comparison in rank sum test. The count data was expressed as percentage, group comparison tested in χ2 and it was statistically significant when P<0.05.Research results:1. The MID incidence of patients in group Mets was 59% right after admission,64.1% one month after admission and 61.5% in six months after admission while that of group NMets was 32.6%,34.8% and 34.8% respectively. The data of both groups was statistically significant.2. According to the scores of MMSE and CDR in different periods of admission in hospital, the patients in group Mets were obviously more serious in degree of dementia than those in group NMets with p (0.034,0.008) and p (<0.001,0.024), among which the risk of vascular dementia was significantly higher(p<0.05).3. The author conducted a 6-month follow-up study on the two groups and found that the morbidity of aggravated dementia after 6 months of its first attack was much higher in Mets than that in NMets, with 5 cases in 25 samples.(As p<0.05, it was statically significant.)Conclusion:1. Patients in Multiple cerebral infarction with Mets are at a much higher risk of MID.2. As to the patients in multiple cerebral infarction with Mets, the risk of vascular dementia is the highest after the first month of its onset.3. As to the patients in the early phase of vascular dementia, the deterioration of those also attacked by Mets is more rapid than those without that symptom.Significance:1.The intervention to related risk factors of patients in multiple cerebral infarction with Mets is of great value in clinical medicine as it reduces the morbidity of MID and controls its deterioration.2. The control in occurrence of MID will relieve the burden of the patients and their family and improve their life quality.
