ObjectiveThis study was the use of the Bi-qiu massage technique of children with allergic rhinitis efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine group and western medicine group were compared, the symptom score table, the diet, sleep, defecate, complexion, etc. to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy to provide curative effect for children rhinitis, combining prevention with green therapy provides clinical guidance.MethodsChildren with allergic rhinitis from May 2014 to March 2015 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM treatment of otorhinolaryngology. Research methods of evidence-based medicine, randomized controlled. Will be diagnosed with allergic rhinitis,60 patients were randomly assigned to three groups. The first group of Chinese medicine & Massage group, the use of allergic rhinitis patients with oral Chinese medicine and Bi-qiu massage technique; the second group of Chinese medicine group, the use of oral Chinese medicine treatment; third group of western medicine group, the use of oral montelukast sodium chewable tablets left with hydrochloric acid levocabastine nasal spray nasal spray treatment. A course of two weeks (including massage therapy twice a week for a total of 4 times). Symptom score before and after treatment, in general, changes in complexion.ResultsThree groups of children with allergic rhinitis treatment before the general situation (age, duration), eating, sleeping, two stools, no significant difference in symptom score comparable. After treatment, the integration of children with symptoms and signs, Chinese medicine & Massage group, after the integration of traditional Chinese medicine treatment group improved significantly compared with a statistically significant (P<0.05), whereas no significant change in the western medicine group (P> 0.05). Chinese medicine & Massage group, in improving nasal congestion, runny nose, reduce the nasal mucosal swelling are better than western medicine group (P<0.05); in improving nasal itching, sneezing, the Chinese medicine & Massage group, the group is superior to western medicine group (P<0.05), Chinese medicine & Massage group, and western medicine group considerable effect (P> 0.05). After treatment, diet, sleep improvement, Chinese medicine & Massage group, and Chinese medicine group were better than western medicine group (P<0.05). Stool and looking at aspects of traditional Chinese medicine group than western medicine, Chinese medicine & Massage group effect is more significant (P <0.05).ConclusionAllergic rhinitis patients with Chinese medicine & Massage group, in children allergic rhinitis treatment group than the simple medicine, western medicine is better; children with physical impose massage improved significantly improved nasal symptoms of complexion, diet, sleep, defecate improve the situation than the other two significantly, this therapy easier for children to accept, as an effective means of clinical treatment of children with allergic rhinitis.
