ObjectiveThe present study aimed to clarify the survival situation of internal arteriovenous fistulas built and used in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, and search the factors affecting the survival of arteriovenous internal fistula.MethodsThis study is a retrospective study. All information was obtained from medical record system of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine.Factors that might affect the survival of AVF were recorded, including the general characteristics, conditions and complications of AVF, catheter usage, dialysis and drug treatment, etc. We establish the database by EXCEL, and analyse them by SPSS 17.0. Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier and COX multivariate regression analysis.ResultsThis study included 104 patients, aged 15~85 years old, the average age (59.03 ± 15.37),58 cases of male (56%),46 cases of female (44%). Survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier and COX multivariate regression analysis, The median survival time of 104 AVFs was 39.633 ± 8.477months. Hypertension as primary disease was concluded benificial factor, age was risk factor. All the factors were brought into competing risk model. Age was concluded as risk factor, peripheral vascular disease and EPO were beneficial factors.Conclusion1.The AVFs of the elderly become dysfunctional easier because of poor vascular condition.2. The influence of hypertension、diabetes、Peripheral vascular disease、Chinese medicine of Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation to AVFs needed further exploring. |
