Background and purpose:The large numbers of researcheshas indica--ted that plasma can be regarded as independence markers in the diagnosis of the liver cancer, neoplasm metastasis, recur and the prompt prognostic. There is still dispute in the curative effect that whether VEGF can be used in the treatme nt of the liver cancer or not. This paper stu--dies about theestimate value of cur ative effect that serum VEGF in hepatopcell--uar carcinoma patients after interventional therapy.Method:Formulating comprehensive search strategy, searching the refere nces of Pubmed,Cochrane Library, Wan Fang darabase, CNKI and CBM. All the published estimate and clinicalresearch data from January,2000 to March, 2015 are collectd which the data are about serum VEGF inhepatopcelluar carci--noma after TACE. According to the preset exclusion criteria selection literatures, evaluating the incorporate literature qualitatively with the JADAD scales, extracting the relevant data and using Stata10.0 software for statistical analysis. Results:Five clinical researches and ninety-six cases have been incorporated in total.RESIST or WHO solid tumor curative effect evaluation standard has been used to divide the groups into disease control rate. CR+ PR+SD group is defined as the effective group, PD group is defined as invalid group. The TACE postoperation valid values and the invalid groups with conventional plasma VEGF levels of mean and standard deviation were extracted and analyzed statistically, Respectively. To the analysis of continuous variable data, the standardized mean difference (SMD) and 95 percent credible section CI has been used and described statistically. The inspection level is based on P≤0.05.The statistically analysis results indicate:SMD-1.43,95%CI (-1.75,-1.11),P=0.000, P<0.05 have indicated that the plasma VEGF level of the valid and invalid groups have statistical significance and the plasma VEGF level of the valid groups are lower than the invalid’s.Conclusion:The patients plasma VEGF level of the valid groups of the primary hepatopcelluar carcinoma TACE postoperation are lower than the invalid’s. The low plasma VEGF level of the postoperation maybe indicate that the patients are reactivity at the TACE treatment response and the control rate of the disease is high. Plasma VEGF level can be regarded as evaluation index of the primary hepatopcelluar carcinoma TACE postoperation curative effect.
