Objective To observe the effect of different operation time operation of skull defect cranioplasty in patients with postoperative neurological function recovery and complications, and investigate the best time of patients with craniocerebral trauma skull defect cranioplasty after decompressive craniectomy operation. Methods A retrospective analysis of 43 patients with traumatic skull defect treated at the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from November 2012 to February 2015 period patients, the craniocerebral trauma for cranioplasty were divided into two groups according to a similar number, that is the early stage group and late stage group, compared two groups of patients with postoperative nerve function recovery and complications. Results The early operation group of patients with KPS score of (87.64 + 10.93) points, and the late operation group of patients with KPS score of (74.26 + 13.47) points, the two groups compared, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).At the same time, the comparison of early and late groups GOS prognosis, the former is better than the latter, with significant difference (P<0.05).0 cases of early postoperative complications in group, advanced group was 3 cases, also suggested that early operation is better than late operation. Conclusion In the absence of significant operation contraindications, cranioplasty for skull defect operation as soon as possible, more conducive to the recovery of neurological function, reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, worthy to be widely applied in clinic.
