The relationship between tumor tissue lnc RNA-LET expression and pathological characteristics in clinic will be analyzed. Lentivirus infection technique was employed to up-regulate the expression of lnc RNA-LET in Eca109 and TE-1 cell lines. The cell proliferation and viability was measured by MTT assay. The effect of lnc RNA-LET on cell apoptosis was evaluated by flow-cytometric analysis. Transwell and wounding healing assay were used to detect the cellular invasion and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinomas. Results: Expression of lnc RNA-LET was decreased in primary ESCC tissues compared to paired normal tissues. Analysis indicated that the expression level of lnc RNA-LET was positive correlated with pathological grade and negative correlated with the TNM stage and lymph node metastasis. Over-expression of lnc RNA-LET was validated to inhibit the cell proliferation, metastasis and invasion of ESCC cells, and modulate p53 expression in human ESCC cell lines in vitro. Conclusions:These results revealed that lncRNA-LET may play an important role in the regulation of tumor progression and metastasis and serve as a tumor suppressor in human ESCC with therapeutic potential for the treatment of human ESCC. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Proliferation, apoptosis, invasionandmetastasis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
