On the other hand, it does require a further study for us to make better understanding of TZF.This essay mainly talks about the study on TZF, which has been included by the fifth version of "Encyclopaedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine", by collecting and sorting literatures while picking up in available. We have classified them basing on the modern acknowledgment of diseases, syndromes and symptoms. Furthermore, some high frequency diseases(e.g diabetes and dysentery diseases, phlegm syndrome, thirst) are selected in order to an intensive studyThe report shows that, TZF, first appeared in the Jin Dynasty, was applied in first aid as the main production purpose. Since the Tang Dynasty, The appliment of TZF gradually turned to chronic Internal disease, and it was prosperity in the Ming dynasty. TZF didn’t came decay until the Qing Dynasty.The TZF can be divided into two forms, that are "Exclusive TZF" and "Multiple TZF", by which can be subdivided into "Exclusive Disease/Exclusive Syndrome/Exclusive Symptoms and Signs TZF" and "Multiple Diseases/Multiple Syndrome/Multiple Symptoms and Signs TZF". Our research tend to indicate that there is a particular relationship between "Exclusive TZF" and "Multiple TZF", by which can be transformed into each other.Besides the TZF composed by experience, many TZF derivative from specific formula by modifying their composition, formation, taking methods and so on. Decoction, pill, powder are regarded as the most typical ways for dosing in the TZF. It is characterized by using guiding drug in the Decoction, taking pills via soup or other special liquid. The utilization of TZF can be also involved the diagnosis referenced by disease and syndrome. It is also made up by gender, physique, five movements and six climates, four solar term, day and night, even if the weather and other factors. The regulation of applying TZF shows the valuable experience in past Chinese Traditional Medical Treatment.It is a great number of TZF recorded in ancient Chinese Traditional Medical books, of what is indeed included substantial experience.
