ObjectiveTo investigate and analyze the current status of drug and non-drug treatment compliance on patients with hypertension in residents in County of Dong Ping.We seek to explore the related factors affecting treatment compliance, improve for the development of patients with hypertension treatment compliance and to provide a scientific basis,so as to develop interventions for improving medication adherence of patients with hypertension. MethodsUsing cluster random sampling method, During Dec, 2013 and Mar, 2014,total samples of 700 hypertension patients from the two county hospitals and four health service centers in Dongping County were investigated. Using the way of Hypertension treatment adherence scale,General situation questionnaire and Medical status questionnaire. Test the Multiple factors analysis of hypertension using Multivariate non-conditional Logistic regression analysis. ResultsHypertension patients have low medication compliance, with a compliance rate of 30.6%.The female medication adherence was higher than the male(p<0.05).The compliance rate increased with education increasing(p<0.05). There was significant difference between different marry condition,For the divorced and bereaved, The compliance rate was lower than the normal married(p<0.05).The compliance rate of hypertension rised with the increase of age;especially 75 years of age. The compliance rate in urban community was higher than in village region; Payment model of medical fee was a influencing factors to the compliance rate. The compliance rate of hypertension was higher in patients with medicare than nonmedical.Whether there is family history was a factors affecting the compliance of hypertension. Hypertension family history had a higher compliance rate than onhypertension family history. Longer duration of the medication had a higher compliance rate than shorter duration of the medication.Take medicines control rate of the better compliancy patients is higher than the‘’bad”compliancy patients. Compliance of patient found negative correlations between take coronary heart disease and stroke. ConclusionsMedication compliance of patients with hypertension is poor in Dongping county.Univariate analysis show that the factors affecting medication adherence of hypertension patients in community included Age,sex, occupation, marital status, education level,Duration of disease, hypertension family history, payment model of medical fee.Age,education, occupation, hypertension family history were the independent and significant factors influencing medication compliance. With the blood pressure level of highering, take coronary heart disease, stroke and kidney disease gradual inlargement. It is lowly to control level. It is the main cause that the bad compliancy and result complications taken place. The quality that needs an exaltation urgently to synthesize an intervention, adopts comprehensive intervention measure to lift a high blood pressure control rate, lower a merger disease occurrence.to implement of hypertension guidelines, promote health education, choose the best treatment options, and call to action on use and reimbursement for home blood pressure monitoring.
