| Objective To do a retrospective analysis of different rehabilitation methods’effect on knee proprioception recovery after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and explore a safe and effective rehabilitation program. Methods We reviewed the data of 25 patients who had undergone anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction between June 2013 to June 2014 and were followed up for more than 6months.The combined meniscus injury was treated with subtotal removal, total removal or meniscus suture according to the specific situation, the complicated cartilage damage was treated micro fracture. We divided these patients into two groups according to the method of postoperative rehabilitation randomly: radical rehabilitation group of 12cases,conservative rehabilitation group of 13cases.The accelerated group means earlier strength practice, earlier motion exercise, earlier full weight bearing and earlier ontology sense practice. The age, gender, joint range of motion, international knee document committee (IKDC) score and lysholm score and other general data of both groups have no statistically significant difference (p>0.05).All cases are treated with single bundle reconstruction, with anterior cruciate ligament tibial stub remained, femur end was fixed with endobutton and tibia end was fixed with squeezing screw, double knee joint passive angle reconstruction method to contrast the knee proprioception recovery at 3 and 6months after operation. Results 1.The patients’ feedback on rehabilitation plan is showed in Table 1.Statistically,the patients of radical group had much more satisfaction than patients of conservative group (p<0.5).2.Both groups of patients had primary healing, without complications such as infection, deep vein thrombosis of lower limb, with drawer test and lachaman test negative.3.As for knee joint passive angle reconstruction method, the total deviation of the affected side of the knee joint after 3months of operation of radical group were 4.85+/-1.68 degrees, while the data of the unaffected side were 3.43+/-1.42degrees.6 months after operation, the total deviation of the affected side of the knee join of radical group were 4.02+/-1.29degrees, with the unaffected side 3.81+/-1.26degrees,with no statistical difference(p>0.5).For the conservative group, the total deviation of the affected side of the knee joint after 6months of operation were 4.57+/-1.64 degrees, while the data of the unaffected side were 3.42+/-1.40degrees,smaller than the affected side. Conclusions 1. The two rehabilitation programmers didn’t have statistical difference when comparing the knee proprioception recovery after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction at 3months after operation, but the radical program had much better results at 6months after operation.2.For patients suffering the anterior cruciate ligament injury, the radical rehabilitation program after operation in this study is advised. |
