| ObjectiveThe aim of This research is to explore the effect of acupuncture with different strength and curative as a therapy for functional dyspepsia(FD), thus providing objective basis for clinical treatment of FD. The method is to observing the different intensity of acupuncture clinical efficacy in patients with functional dyspepsia(FD) and its influence on patients with gastric dynamic element.MethodsIn this study, the 90 patients cames from the "Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Second Accessory" spleen and stomach department. this 90 patients were divided into strong acupuncture intensity group(Strong group) 30 cases,medium acupuncture intensity group(medium group) 30 cases, light acupuncture intensity group(light group) 30 cases, following the principle of randomization. Strong group use the strong stimulation treatment, medium group use the medium stimulation treatment, light group use the light stimulation treatment. 10 days for a course of treatment, 2 course totally. Record the symptoms integral, curative effect index,Nepean Dyspepsia Index(NDI) after each course and followed the participants after one month. Compare the gastric dynamic element(MTL) levels before and after treatment.Results⑴ the comprehensive curative effect comparison: strong group of clinical recovery 9 cases, 8 cases were markedly effective, 6 cases effective, 7 had no effect,the clinical cure rate was 30%, total effective rate was 76.67%,Medium group clinical recovery in 14 cases, 11 cases were markedly improved, 3 cases ineffective in 2 cases,and clinical cure rate was 46.67%, total effective rate was 93.33%; Weak group clinical recovery in 5 cases, 5 cases were markedly effective, effective in 11 cases, 11 cases,clinical cure rate was 10%, total effective rate was 70%. Three groups of efficient moresignificant difference(P<0.01), with statistical significance.⑵The clinical symptoms integral and curative effect index of these three groups of FD patients: before treatment, there is no statistical significance(P>0.05),in these three groups. After two courses of treatment, There was a significant difference of symptoms integral in these 3 groups(P<0.05)like patients’ mental fatigue, weakness of limbs, appetite decrease, full and strong and weak spines.There was a significant difference of efficacy index, total integral efficacy index and follow-up after treatment efficacy index in these 3 groups(P<0.05).This result proves that the medium group has the best curative effect in relieve the symptoms of FD,which can also reduce the recurrence rate and both economical and safety.⑶Indigestion symptoms integral: before the treatment the three groups has no statistically significant difference(P>0.05),which means they are comparable; There was a significant difference of symptoms integral before and after treatment in Strong group and medium group(P<0.01);There was a difference of symptoms integral before and after treatment in light group(P<0.05);There was a significant difference of symptoms integral in Strong group、 medium group and light group,which means the efficacy of medium group is better then the other two groups。⑷Nepean Dyspepsia Index : before the treatment, there was no statistically significant difference of NDI symptoms and quality of life score in these three groups,so they are comparable. After treatment, the Nepean Dyspepsia Index of all the three groups are decreased(P<0.05), and the quality of life have been improved obviously(P<0.05). The result of medium group are better then others both NDI symptom index and NDI quality of life index.⑸Serum gastric dynamic element: before the treatment the MTL content of these three groups has on statistically significant(P>0.05), so they are comparable.MTL content increased obviously in the medium group then the other two groups after the first course of treatment, and these is a statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionThrough the study found that moderate intensity of acupuncture in the treatment of FD curative effect is better than the other two groups, can obviously increase the content of serum in patients with gastric dynamic element, using the intensity of acupuncture treatment for clinical treatment FD provides effective solution. |
