Clinical Value Of ¹⁸F-FDG PET/CT In The Staging And Follow-up Of Nasal Type NK/T Lymphoma

Objective To assess the clinical value of 18F-FDG PET/CT in the staging and follow-up of nasal type NK/T Lymphoma. Methods Fifty-six patients with gastroscope patho-logy proved nasal type NK/T Lymphoma were enrolled into this study. 56 patients underwent pre-treatment 18F-FDG PET/CT scan 2 weeks before chemotherapy/radiotherapy and 6-8 weeks after chemotherapy/radiotherapy.The existence of 1esions and their maximum standardized uptake value(SUVmax) were evaluated. Measurement data were compared by chi- square test,Whether the tumor is in progress within 6 months as the state variable classification standard,and the the ROC curve.Grouping the data into two groups by diagnostic point(high SUV and low SUV), calculating the cumulative survival rate by Kaplan-Meier method, test the difference between groups by Log-rank method.α=0.05.Results Of all 56 cases, 15 cases were staged into Ⅲ~Ⅳ,the rest wereⅠ~Ⅱ,and there patients died within follow-up.concordance rate were 44.6%(25/56)between PET/CT and CT, 31 cases’ staging were changed by PET/CT. The overall survival time was 23 months, the overall survival rate of 1y,2y,5y were 62.5%、33.9%、71.4%;The survival time of low SUV group was 40 months,the low SUV group survival rate of 1y,2y,5y were was the overall survial rate of low SUV were 65.5%、51.7%、6.9%; The survival time of high SUV group was 20 months, the high SUV group survival rate of 1y,2y,5y were was the overall survial rate of low SUV were 55.6%、14.8%、3.7%.Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT has an important clinical role in the staging, as well as post-treatment follow-up of nasal type NK/T Lymphoma.
