ObjectiveBased on 74 cases of gastric neuroendocrine neuplasms,of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of research, further deepen understanding of gastric neuroendocrine neuplasms,and to improve the diagnosis and treatment of gastric neuroendocrine neuplasms.MethodsMedical records of 74 patients with gastric neuroendocrine neuplasms diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 1,2008 to Sep 31.2013 were collected and retrospectively reviewed in this study. The clinicopathological data including age of onset, initial symptoms, primary site, pathological conditionsdisease stage at diagnosis, treatment, and follow up were analyzed.ResultsThe gender ratio M/F of the 74 cases was 2.52:1, with the mean age of 62.86 years.48(about 64.86%) patients the first clinical symptoms presented epigasric discomfort, eating has a lot of 21 cases (about 28.38%),acid regurgitation,eructation, melaen, and thin about 12 patients (about 16.21%); Among the 74 cases, there were 5 careinoids,52 neuroendoefine carcinomas,17 neuroendocrine tumors; Clinical stage I was 6 cases, Clinical stage II was 21 cases, Clinical stage III was 28 cases,Clinical stage IV was 19 cases.57 patients received radical operation,5 received chemotherapy, and 12 cases were treated by palliative operation. All the 74 patients were followed up. and the overall 1,3and5-year survival rates were 74.32%(55/74)、40.54%(30/74 and)18.91%(14/74),respectively.ConclusionGastric neuroendocrine neuplasms usually occur in males,had a later onset, symptoms are not typical, radical surgery as soon as possible treatment can effectively improve the survival rate of patients.
