bjective:To investigate the expression and clinical significance of transcription factor FOXQ1 in human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC). Methods:FOXQ1 m RNA and protein were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot among 24 pairs of HCC tissues, paracarcinoma tissues. Immumistry was used for detection of FOXQ1 protein in 68 pairs of HCC tissues and corresponding paraneoplastic tissues. Results:The expression of FOXQ1 m RNA and protein in HCC were significantly higher than in paraneoplastic liver tissues, the expression of FOXQ1 protein was correlated with TNM stage, tumor differentiation, tumer numbers and tumer size(p<0.05). Conclusion:FOXQ1 is overexpressed in HCC.The abnormal expression of FOXQ1 is closely related to progress and clinicopahology of HCC.
