[Objective]To investigate the relationship between the level,growth value a year of serum Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and insulin like growth factor binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) with the level and increments of the growth development in Guangxi Han, Zhuang, Yao students at 8,11,14 years old,and the relationship between the growth rate and the annual student growth level; Maste the trends and differences of IGF-1, IGFBP-3 and the index of growth among different ethnic, age groups and between gender, and providing reference for future research.[Methods]With 7,10,13 year-old students from Guangxi Han of Hepu Zhuang of Wum-ing and Yao of Gongcheng County as the object of study,933 stu dents we-re followed longitudinally from 2013 to 2014. site investigation w as condu-cting from Apr to Jun,including morphological indexes:height, sitti ngheight,body weight, chest circumference; nutritional status indicators:the upper ar m (brachialtriceps skinfold thickness), subscapular skinfold thickness of the M inistry; the indicators of pubertal development:male testicular volume,pubert al staging, whether to have the beard, voice, the Adam’s appleand spermat orrhea, female breast development stage, pubic hair developmentstage,whethe r the menarche;determination serum IGF-1, IGFBP-3 levels were used enzy me linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA);compare the differences of the p ercentage of body fat, BMI index, the increments of measurement between national, gender and age;The IGF-1, IGFBP-3 as the dependent variable, th e level and increment of growth and development as the indepen-dent varia bles to do multiple linear stepwise regression analysis.[Results]1 The speed of morphological developmentThe sample development level of boys are higher than girls, Zhuang students is the highest and Yao is the lowest. As an example of height, the average height order number is 122.03cm,127.59cm,138.28cm,144.60cm, 155.02cm,161.22cm at 7,8,10,11,13,14 years old boys, and the girls were 121.55cm,127.27cm,138.11cm,145.06cm,152.71cm,155.07cm.Compared with the previous year, the average height growth is 5.46cm at 7 years old boys, and 5.82cm at 7 years old girls,10 years olds was bigger increments, compared to that,13 years old boy height increase in constant, the girls are dropped to 2.24cm.2 Changes in nutritional statusStunting of average detection rate was 4.72% in 2014, Yao was the highest, accounting for 9.63%, Zhuang is the lowest,0.91%,was similar with the distribution in 2013. Marasmus detection was the highest in the Han boys, and the lowest in Zhuang boys, Zhuang boys far it was higher of overweight and obesity rate than that of other groups in Zhuang boys. There was no inter ethnic differences in girls.3 The status of pubertal developmentZhuang female breast development level is higher than the Han and Yao, at the age of 14,75.5% of the Zhuang female breast development at stage Ⅳ, and Han and Yao girls development level are mostly distributed in the phase Ⅲ, followed by IV; male external genitalia development level of 11 year old students of Han nationality in the development of best, Ⅱ and above accounted for 64%, while Yao accounted for only 6.5%.13,14 years old group Zhuang boys developmental level is the highest,14 was 48.8% of the students’ development has reached adult levels, and Yao are mainly concentrated in stage Ⅱ and 32.1% of the boys has not yet been developed.4 The change of insulin-like growth factor(1) IGF-1:the average concentration of sample was in order to 140.26 g/L, 126.73 g/L,13.25 g/L,126.53 g/L,170.30 g/L,145.31 g/L at the age of 7, 8,10,11,13,14, annual growth of IGF-1 values averaged-19.67 g/L,67.9% of students serum IGF-1 showed negative growth.(2) IGFBP-3:the average concentration was followed by 45.60 g/L,53.09 g/L, 58.22g/L,53.98g/L,51.63g/L,60.89g/Lattheageof7,8,10,11,13,14, annual growth of IGFBP-3 values for-17.29 G/L,73.1% of the students serum IGFBP-3 showed negative growth.5 Influencing factors of serum IGF-1, IGFBP-3(1) The levels of serum IGF-1 was related with body weight, scapular skinfold and female pubic hair development stage, R2=0.695,but not closed to the height and male sexual development.(2) the annual increments of IGF-1 was related with the increments of scapular skinfold, R2=0.5(3) the level of IGFBP-3 was related with body weight, increments of scapular skinfold, pubic hair development stage of female, genital development stage andseminal emission of male, has nothing to do with height, R2=0.694.(4)the annual increments of IGFBP-3 was related with the increments of weight and sitting height, R2=0.481.[Conclusion] The growth and development condition of Zhuang was higher than Yao;Most of the annual increments of serum IGF-1, IGFBP-3 growth value is negative growth; The level of IGF-1 and IGFBP-3 was closed with weight and pubertal development indicatorst,the close degree of height is not high.
