Objective:Evaluate the status of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radical surgery in locally advanced cervical cancer. Methods:Enrolling 60 patients from January 2012 to November 2014 at the First Hospital of Lanzhou University obstetrics and gynecology clinic pathological diagnosis of locally advanced cervical cancer. This research was divided into neoadjuvant chemotherapy phase and radical surgery phase, in neoadjuvant chemotherapy phase, patients were received paclitaxel and cisplatin, After the completion of two cycles of treatment, we evaluated volume of tumor. And then,we randomly divided all the patients into group LRH and group ARH, these two groups were compared in those respects:blood loss, Postoperative ventilation time, catheter removal time, removal of the lymph nodes, days of hospitalized, use of antibiotic.Results:1.In those 60 patients, the number of patients between the ages of 46-50 were most consistent with epidemiological data, and 48.4% of the total population was ≤45 years old.2. After the completion of two cycles of treatment, CR 11 (18.33%), PR 31 (51.6%), SD 14 (23.33%), PD4 (6.66%), CR+PR=69.93%.3. Age, clinical stage, tumor type and grade were not statistically significant with NACT efficacy.4. blood loss:group ARH was 216.00±73.20ml, group LRH was 121.74±53.33ml, The difference was statistically significant.5. removal of the lymph nodes, group ARH was 21.84±0.42, group LRH was 21.80+ 0.36, The difference was not statistically significant.6. Postoperative ventilation time, group ARH was 4.08±0.81days, group LRH was 2.20 ±0.82days,The difference was statistically significant.7. Catheter removal time, group ARH was 30.36±6.76days, group LRH was 21.80± 1.95days. The difference was statistically significant.8.Days of Hospitalized, group ARH was 10.76±1.74days,group LRH was8.08± 1.07days, The difference was statistically significant.9.Use of antibiotic, group ARH was 6.00±1.01 days, group LRH was 5.20±1.28days, The difference was statistically significant.10.Pathology results:Between group ARH and group LRH, node-positive, positive margin vaginal, uterine tissue positive, deep myometrial invasion were not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.NACT can significantly decrease volume of tumor, and Age, clinical stage, tumor type and grade was not statistically significant with NACT efficacy.2. ARH and LAH had significant difference on blood loss, Postoperative ventilation time, Catheter removal time, days of Hospitalized, Use of antibiotic, and when it terms to removal of the lymph nodes, pathology results,The difference were not statistically significant.
